Why Germany?

Why are we here having all this fun? Well, we do have to work during the week on a project for our company (Clariant). Clariant is installing a business software system called SAP R/3 in all it's companies thoughout the world. The first Clariant companies to have the software are in Europe. So we came to where the action is to learn from the experts who have designed our version and have experience installing it. Our team from Clariant in the U.S. is here to learn what we need to know to go back home and begin our project (one of many) to install SAP R/3 for the NAFTA region.

Our project is to replace the current plant maintenance software at 2 plants (Mt Holly, NC and Martin, SC) with the SAP plant maintenance module and other supporting modules. Click here for more information about SAP R/3.
